Right on Target

Envy me, you Target Whores. I went to the opening of the new city Target last night. Free food, music, and hey how about that special little shopping cart escalator. People crowded around it, oohing and ahhing. You don't see those in Missouri like you do in Southern CA.

We went with Dock Slop Jack.

Dock Slop Jack, who taught my kid that when the cats sneeze, they say, "Meow-Choo!"

    I'm still perturbed that I do web development and yet have to go in to an office to do so. I spend maybe 3-4 hours a week in meetings. I could go in one or two days a week and do that nonsense. The internet is a great tool for remote workers. I wish employers would take greater advantage of that!

    I work remote from home as well. I like it, although it's easy to do work in the middle of the night.

    It's definitely not for everyone...I suspect most would end up watching Maury or ESPN.

    Congrats on the training video job. Sounds fun. If it was me, I'd do all kinds of weird voices...mix it up a little. I do a great Ernie impression. "Hey Burt...here's your steak."

    Phoenix, even funnier since the training is about recognizing alcohol impairement. A drunken Burt voice would be perfect!

    I saw on the news that people were TAILGATING in the Target parking lot before the opening?! ~chuckle~ Was that you?????
