Stupid trees
Let's play good news bad news.
Bad news first.
The bad news is that is will cost over 3 grand to deal with the trees in our front yard. One is dying and needs to be removed. The second one, the one that had a limb that went boom, will cost over 800 dollars to trim.
The good news is that the cyst of my ovary is benign.

I had a house for 5 years. Then we tried to sell it - and had to promptly put in a new section of roof, move from septic to city sewer, repair two walls, and cut down a tree. Cost: around $7,000. Ouch.
And that doesn't count all the small junk we had to fix along the way, just the big ones that bit us at the end.
Being a home owner is expensive!
I'm kinda glad to be renting now. At least it's not MY problem to call the cleaners when the basement carpet floods.
